Organs of State may only with prior approval of the National Treasury cancel a tender invitation for the second time in compliance with the Preferential Procurement Regulations, 2017.

Supplier Restriction and Removal Application

Organs of state must provide the National Treasury with written submission as to whether the tenderer should be restricted from conducting business with any organ of state, in terms of Preferential Procurement Regulations, 2017. Restriction of suppliers, shareholders, and directors must be done in line with clause 7 of National Treasury SCM Instruction Note 3 of 2016/17 - preventing and combating abuse in the supply chain management system.
